Edenbrook, Brooks Edge is a popular development of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom family housing by prestigious developer, Berkeley Homes. The contemporary style of homes encompasses both traditional and modern building design and materials. Having already completed 11 houses as part of an earlier building phase, NRT are currently involved in the development of a further 57 units and have just secured the final phase of the last 29 units.
Berkeley homes are widely regarded as high-quality, family homes and NRT has enjoyed a successful relationship with Berkeley since 2013, following an initial word-of-mouth recommendation.
Berkeley homes feature lots of external detail which sets them apart from other housing developments. Consequently, this project involved a wide range of traditional building and carpentry skills. The diversity and scope of the works involved has made this an ideal site for our company apprentices to learn and develop their expertise.
NRT provided 1st and 2nd fix carpentry including vanities, bath-panels, stud-works, partitions and the installation of Velux windows. Externally, we installed multiple sets of joists (timber and concrete) in both and 2 and 3 level storey buildings. Complex roofing was also required, as well as low level roofs on the garages. Hardiplank cladding, balcony structures, balustrading and posts were all installed, together with entrance canopies and porches.
